Frequently Asked Questions
Will it hold my phone through a case?
A MagSafe case or a thin plastic case is fine. A thick case weakens the pull noticeably, and in that situation the included metal ring, stuck to the outside of the case, gives a firmer hold.
Do magnets damage a phone?
No. Modern phones are unaffected, though the magnet can interfere with a bank card or hotel key card left in a wallet case.
