Fantech WG7V2 CRYPTO II 12000 DPI Dual Mode Wireless Gaming Mouse

Dual mode is the point: use it wirelessly for a clean desk, and when the battery runs low you plug in the cable and keep playing instead of stopping. The Fantech WG7V2 CRYPTO II runs an Instant S205 sensor up to 12,000 DPI at a 1000Hz polling rate, eight times the report rate of a basic mouse, which is what competitive players actually notice. Six buttons are programmable, the switches are rated for 20 million clicks, the 600mAh battery covers up to 30 hours, and there are nine ARGB lighting modes. Available in Black and White.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why pick this over the wired VX7?
Two reasons: no cable drag, and a 1000Hz polling rate against the VX7's 125Hz, which makes cursor movement feel smoother. You pay more and you have to remember to charge it.

Will the wireless add lag?
A 2.4GHz receiver like this is close enough to wired that most players cannot tell. Bluetooth mice are the ones with noticeable lag, and this does not rely on Bluetooth.

Does 30 hours mean with the lighting on?
Battery figures are quoted under moderate conditions, and RGB lighting is the biggest drain on any wireless mouse. Turning the lighting down extends it considerably.
